Each type asks different questions and produces a different document. Pick the one that matches what you need to present.
A structured improvement action plan with owners, target dates, measures of success, monitoring arrangements and governance review.
A local clinical or operational policy with purpose, scope, structured policy requirements, roles, implementation, monitoring and document control.
A step-by-step standard operating procedure or procedure, with preconditions, ordered steps, decision points, safety considerations, documentation and monitoring.
A concise report for a committee, board or governance meeting, setting out the issue, the evidence, what is being asked of the meeting, the risks and the recommendations.
A proportionate proposal for a service change, setting out the problem, strategic fit, objectives, options, benefits, costs, risks, implementation, measures of success and a clear recommendation.
The same five steps for every document type.
1. Choose a document
Five document types, each with its own questions, structure and export layout.
2. Link a project, or not
Optionally reuse what one of your Lazomis QI projects already records, so you do not retype it. You choose what is brought across.
3. Answer guided questions
Short, plain-English questions. Required fields are marked; everything else is optional.
4. Review the wording
The structure and your recorded facts are fixed. AI assistance drafts narrative wording one section at a time, and you review and edit it.
5. Preview and download
See the finished document on screen, then download it as Word or PDF with Lazomis QI branding.
When you link one of your own projects, the builder offers project-level information the project already holds — such as the aim, department, standards, findings, gaps and improvement actions. Figures are quoted exactly as your project recorded them and are never recalculated. You tick what is used, and editing a document never changes the project.
This is in addition to the audit and quality improvement reports Lazomis QI already produces automatically from your project data. It does not replace them.
These documents describe processes, services and governance — not individual patients. The builder never asks for a patient name, NHS number, hospital number, date of birth or address, and individual case records are never brought across from a project.
Your documents are private to you, and a document created from an organisation project follows that organisation's existing access rules.
