Contributor acknowledgement information
Acknowledgement is a preference only. Lazomis does not promise authorship, named acknowledgement, publication or inclusion in any contributor list. Before your name is published, we will ask you separately to confirm the exact name, title or affiliation and the specific output.
The choices available to you
Contact me about possible acknowledgement.
We may contact you if work you contributed to is being considered for a publication, presentation or report. This is not a promise of acknowledgement or authorship.
I prefer my contribution to remain anonymous.
You will not be named in any output and will not be contacted about acknowledgement.
No acknowledgement contact is required.
We will not contact you about acknowledgement.
Before anyone is named
If work you contributed to may be included in a publication, presentation or report, and your preference allows contact, we will ask you separately to confirm the exact name to use, your professional title or affiliation where relevant, the specific output, and your agreement to being publicly named. We keep evidence of that publication-specific confirmation.
Teams and authorship
Where several people contributed to a project, we do not assume every project member should be named, we do not publish team details, and one team member cannot agree to another person being named. Each proposed named contributor is contacted separately. Authorship remains a separate academic decision and is never determined automatically by the platform.
Changing your preference
You can change or withdraw your preference at any time in your account under Privacy, data use and preferences. Earlier records are retained so the history remains auditable. Questions can be sent to support@lazomis.co.uk.
